For the last ~20 years Jane Mygatt was the Collections Manager at the UNM Herbarium. Many of us worked with Jane and enjoyed her professionalism and botanical expertise. Tim Lowrey credited her work as a major reason that the Herbarium has been so successful. Jane retired in Dec. 2010 and is sorely missed.
Thankfully, Phil Tonne accepted the position of Senior Collections Manager at the UNM Herbarium. In his new role, which began April 1st, Tonne is the Herbarium’s liaison to the public and the science community.
