Santa Fe May Meeting: Habitat Restoration for Bees with Kimiora Ward

The topic of the May 15 meeting of the Santa Fe chapter is: “Habitat Restoration for Bees—if you build it they will come!” presented by Kimiora Ward.

Kimiora Ward is the Restoration Program Coordinator in the Institute for Applied Ecology Southwest Office in Santa Fe, NM. She studies methods for improving the effectiveness of habitat restoration through plant selection and development of establishment and maintenance techniques. Her duties include overseeing restoration research and implementation in diverse habitats in New Mexico.

Monthly meetings are held third Wednesdays at 6:30 PM at Christ Lutheran Church—1701 Arroyo Chamiso, located in the triangle of Old Pecos Trail, St Michael’s Drive and Arroyo Chamiso, and directly across the street from Fire Station #4.
