Moderate, 3-miles: access to parking area on left side of Sandia Crest Road (Hwy 236); trail goes through a meadow and woods of a picnic area with a gradual uphill walk beside a creek-bed in the woods.

Leave from Smith’s at Central and Tramway, southwest corner of the parking lot, at 8:00AM.

Bring snacks, insect repellant, sunscreen, and water, and be prepared for possible rain. If you intend to carpool, please bring a face mask.
