Happy Superbowl Sunday, to all football fans and Swifties. Join us for a Field trip to La Luz Creek, followed by a potluck and meet & greet in La Luz, NM.

Fieldtrip to La Luz Creek will be from 10-12ish, starting from Karen LeComte’s house. We will carpool to the creek, and visit the area regardless of whether it’s wet or dry. During our trip we will learn about native plants in riparian areas, and our local sources of water. Back at Karen’s yard we will see the way water is used in her landscape and methods for water conservation. Please email to RSVP and get address.

Potluck and meet & greet will be from noon-2ish, at Karen’s house. Bring a tasty something to share during the potluck, like finger foods. Come ready to mingle and learn what’s going on with the chapter this year. It’s a great time to connect, or re-connect, with the group. Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect. And potluck items can be noted on the RSVP page too, so we know what cutlery/supplies to have.
