Plant Identification (Keying) Party at UNM Herbarium  

We are excited to continue hosting regular plant identification parties at the UNM herbarium this fall semester. We provide the plants , the microscopes, the dichotomous keys, and even the pizza.

  • This will be an after-hours event for folks to come in and work through plant specimens collected in New Mexico. Start time TBA.
  • October’s event will have a 20-person max capacity and is best for those who have experience keying out plants.
  • We are meeting at the UNM Herbarium, within Museum of Southwest Biology, CERIA 83.
  • RSVP required by email to Collections Manager, Harpo Faust, harpofaust [at] unm [dot] edu . ​​
