Karen Blisard, Kelly Allred & Russ Kleinman will present a series of fun anecdotes about their trials and tribulations searching for bryophytes. Learn about mosses and liverworts painlessly as the three presenters discuss what it takes to put together a book about these enchanting little plants for New Mexico.

Meet at the NMSU Herbarium on campus. It’s in the Biology Annex near the intersection of Stewart & Williams Streets (3080 Williams Street, Las Cruces). Free parking north and south of the annex after 4:30 p.m. Enter via the Williams Street door which will be unlocked at 6:30. Do not use the entrance from the steps on the north side of the building. It will not be unlocked. Attendees, please sign in on both the NMSU Herbarium’s visitor’s register as well as the Native Plant Society’s attendance list.
