Saturday, October 21st at 10 a.m. — Propagation Workshop

Learn how to propagate plants at one of our member’s residence in the La Luz foothills. This will be at the second stop from the May garden tours. Email  (or call) for more information.

Topics will include starting plants from seed, transplanting, and more.

Bring trowels/tools, pots/trays, potting soil, and the like, wear comfortable clothing, and bring lunch and/or snacks. There will be outdoor tables and chairs, and it will be a good time for roundtable presentations/demonstrations of the various knowledge, and experience, we each posses. Feel free to bring any seeds for sharing, and/or something for show and tell.

There will be a good deal of plants, in the garden meeting place, from which to learn, collect seeds, divide, and transplant, including: Ponderosa & Afghan pine, blanketflower, juniper, Maximillian sunflower, Desert globemallow, Colorado four o’clock, wild rose, Four wing saltbush, and prickly pear, and more.
