Chick Keller will lead a trip to field trip to San Gregoria Lake, in the San Pedro Parks Wilderness area. We will meet in Los Alamos at 9:00 AM
We will leave Santa Fe at 8:00 AM! from the K-Mart parking lot on St. Michael’s Dr. and carpool to the Los Alamos High School parking lot in Los Alamos where we will meet up with Chick Keller at 9:00 AM.
Our trip is to a wonderful place north of Los Alamos adjacent to the Guaje Pines cemetery which should be at its height, displaying quite a variety of wildflowers including Penstemon virgatus and oliganthus, yellow paintbrush, and many others.
Time permitting; afterwards we may visit the Los Alamos Nature Center/Pajarito Environmental Education Center and take Chick out to lunch in Los Alamos
