The Otero (Alamogordo) chapter is hosting a field trip to Otero Mesa on September 7. Meet at 8 AM at Speedway Gas Station (US 54 across from the old Walmart) to carpool.
Visit the lands of black gramma grasses, towering yuccas and hidden petroglyphs. This is a day-long trip, so bring snacks, lunch, boots, sunscreen and water.
