You are invited to attend a wildflower hike on the Cliff Trail at the recently established Rio Mora National Wildlife Refuge! We have an approved permit from the RMNWR for Saturday, July 24th and can accommodate 20 participants.
We plan to meet at the trailhead at 9:00 a.m. The loop trail is 2.9 miles long. There is no actual trail, just cairns and flagging. Bring a snack because there is a nice spot about halfway along the Cliff Trail that is shady and scenic where we can take a lunch break.
Because this field trip is limited to 20 people, please send an email to tom “at” thomasantonio “dot” org or leave a text message at (505) 690-5105 to be included on this field trip. First come first served. We are asking that all participants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
If you have any questions, please email LaGrange_L “at” NMHU “dot” edu
