We welcome Nik McPhee, Ecologist/Botanist with the BLM Taos Field Office. Her talk will focus on Rare Native Plants in Taos and Where to Find Them.
She will also discuss the BLM Taos Field Office’s Community Science Program that will be implemented for the first time this summer and how the public can get involved. Field guides to the Taos Field Office’s native rare plants will be distributed at the meeting, in addition to a field guide to monarch butterflies and the various species of milkweed. Nik promises an evening of fun and good cheer!
